Mold Remediation
What is Mold?
Mold is a naturally-occurring organism that thrives in damp areas. Left unchecked, mold can damage materials and negatively affect your health.
How fast does mold grow after water damage?
Mold can begin to grow within 24 to 48 hours after water exposure, that’s why quick mitigation is critical. Our team focuses on controlling moisture and addressing the root cause to stop mold in its tracks and if mold is present, we handle full remediation.
Can I clean mold myself?
Minor surface mold might be cleaned safely but if it’s widespread, hidden, or in porous materials like drywall, it’s best to leave it to the pros. Improper cleanup can spread spores and make your problem worse.
How do you get rid of mold?
Our certified team sets up containment, removes the mold, and ensures the area is clean and safe using HEPA filtration and anti-microbial treatments.
How long does it take to remove mold?
It depends on the scope, but most mold remediation jobs can be completed in a matter of hours to a couple of days. We isolate the area, scrub surfaces, run air purification, and test to confirm clearance before removing containment.
Can mold cause health problems?
Molds have the potential to cause health problems. Mold exposure can cause respiratory issues, allergic reactions, and other symptoms especially in people with sensitivities or compromised immune systems. Mold can also damage the structure of your home it spreads unchecked. Always consult your physician for medical advice.
Water Mitigation
Will insurance cover water damage?
In most cases, yes if the damage was sudden and accidental. Gradual damage is usually excluded. Our team can help you determine the likelihood of coverage at the initial inspection and assist in the claim process.
How much do water damage repairs cost?
The cost of water damage repairs depends on the extent of the damage and the contents affected. Our team will provide a detailed estimate using industry-standard software just like an insurance adjuster. Call us to lear more about inspection availability and pricing.
What should I do if I have a flood, leak, or sewage backup?
First, shut off your main water supply if it is safe to do so. Then, contact us immediately. The longer water sits, the word the damage and the higher the risk of mold. Our team will extract the water, disinfect the area, and start the drying process right away.
What does the water damage restoration look like?
First, one of our estimators will assess the damage. We’ll then create a scope of work and submit an estimate to your insurance company (if applicable).
Once approved, we’ll begin mitigation and restoration work to return your home to pre-loss condition.
What are the categories of water damage?
